
My first experience in my work immersion day in Municipality of Valencia, Tourism office was great. The fellow employees have a great attitude and very friendly. They introduced themselves and so as we, they also made a tour as in the office and tell us what should we so, after that they let us relax in the waiting are and told us if there is a customer/ tourist we should assist them and we shouldn’t feel fear to face the customer.

We should ensure the customers satisfaction, market for the purpose of attracting tourists, we also produce promote materials that we display, promote existing tourists attractions through advertising campaigns and record information as needed. If there is no customers we arranged and scheduled meetings, appointments, and events for management, including coordination calendars and security meeting spaces; keep calendars and remind all parties of upcoming events.

We also answer phones, direct calls, take and deliver messages as needed, prepared outgoing mail, sort and deliver incoming mail to appropriate persons and also;
-Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and work processing
-Helping organize and maintain office common areas
-Performing general office clerk duties and errands
-Filling documents and performing office machines operations
-Ensure an organized, clean and tidy workspace
-Collecting statistical records and encoding tourists influx
-Sweeping and cleaning the comfort room near Spanish building
-Cleaning and re-arranging the office
-Made an inventory of the supplies
-Preparing work orders for maintenance needs
-Explain or disseminate information to tourism establishments
And that was my 10th day experience in work immersion in Tourism Office of Valencia and worth a while of remembering.
