My Cycling Journey

written by: Roldgie Deposoy

Cycling has always been a passion of mine. There’s something about being out on the open road with nothing but my bike and my thoughts that brings me peace. Recently, I went on a ride that was particularly memorable.

I started my ride early in the morning. The sun was just beginning to rise, and the air was still cool. I had planned out a route that would take me through some of the most picturesque countryside in the area. As I rode, I passed fields of green, dotted with bright flowers. The rolling hills in the distance were shrouded in a mist that gave them an otherworldly feel.

As I rode further, I came across a small village. The houses were quaint and charming, with thatched roofs and colorful gardens. The village square was bustling with locals going about their day. I stopped for a moment to take it all in before continuing on my way.

The road became steeper as I approached the hills. My legs were burning, but the scenery made it all worth it. At the top of the hill, I stopped to catch my breath and take in the view. The hills rolled out before me, covered in a patchwork of green fields and forests. The sun had risen higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over everything.

As I descended the other side of the hill, the wind rushing past my face, I felt a sense of exhilaration. I felt alive and free, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Cycling is not just a form of exercise; it’s a way to connect with the world around us. This ride through the countryside reminded me of the simple pleasures in life and how important it is to take a moment to appreciate them. I’ll never forget this ride, and I can’t wait to see where my bike takes me next.
