One of the best places that is worth to visit is the Zamboanga Sibugay located in Mindanao. Zamboanga Sibugay is still a province that not many Filipinos are familiar with. Relatively speaking, the province was separated from Zamboanga del Sur, the 79th out of 81 provinces in the Philippines. Even more so, the province’s numerous tourist attractions show promise. Zamboanga Sibugay, which advantages from a more wet climate, is also the greatest location for growing rubber trees. It also includes a large coastline with several beach resorts and stunning islands, as well as a mountainous interior.
One of the best places in the Zamboanga Sibugay is the Capitol Complex. It’s one of those elegant and magnificent Capitol buildings. The Capitol complex is located on a hilly part of the provincial capital, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. Its unique architectural features differ from the general Greek-inspired facade. The facade comes in three colors – yellow, blue and brown. The roof has a dominant conical structure in the middle and visible columns have an designed ethnic-type support structure that speaks to the cultural context of the province. As you enter the building, you’ll be amazed by the spacious, high-ceilinged outdoor room with a built-in stage. The favorite part of the Capitol complex is the balcony of the other building where you can see downtown. As you explore the Houses of Parliament, its architectural features are sure to surprise visitors.

Also the Tagbilat Falls or must known as Malagandis Falls is one of tourist attraction of Zamboanga Sibugay. The cloudy weather created the perfect contrast between the dark colors of the forest surrounding the eerie curtain of water that gushed out as the deep blue river ended with gravity. An isolated small wooden house always stands next to the waterfall, providing a uniform panorama of the place. The gentle breeze brushed past the faces of the visitors as if inviting them to the waters. You can explore the area through the dense bushes that grow near the falls, trudge between slippery rocks and jump over logs and washed logs. Moving closer to the far edge of the falls, the incessant roaring of the water got louder and louder, and the more enthralling the waterfall becomes from this perspective. As you approach the far edge of the falls, the incessant roar of the water gets louder and the waterfall becomes even more exciting from that perspective point.

And last but not the least is the Ipil Rotunda Obelisk. Ipil is a crossroads to Zamboanga, Dipolog, and Pagadian. Exploring the Zamboanga Peninsula would definitely lead you to this recognizable obelisk. It is erected on a traffic roundabout, surrounded by commercial establishments, and was inaugurated last 2015. The obelisk is embellished with baybayin script characters that spell the name of the province. The province isn’t exactly high on the bucket list of places people want to visit in the country. Because you can just pass by the rotunda Obelisk or the Provincial Capitol in Ipil in terms of landmarks and tourist attractions.

The fact that there is not much information about the province is what interests you most when visiting. For whatever reason, you may still feel more drawn or excited about visiting unusual places that other people wouldn’t even consider.
